What Dreaming Dogs Know

Elder wisdom:  All things come to those who wait or to those who nap in the warm sunshine.

“If I am content with a little, enough is as good as a feast.” That’s a quote from a guy named William Shakespeare. He wrote a bunch of plays, whatever those are, a long time ago. I’m not exactly sure that I agree with what he says about small amounts being good enough.

What I’ve learned is that you have to take huge bites risks and dream impossible dreams; go for the gusto … and all that jazz or you can end up leading a pretty dull life. And, what’s the fun of that?

I’ll tell you another thing I know: it’s hard work to dream those impossible dreams. That guy who came up with the phrase, “Let sleeping dogs lay,” sure knew what he was talking about.   [gplus count=”true” size=”Medium” ]
