I’ll Wait For You Forever.

Wanted: humans for lifelong companionship. Would like a family that has some dog experience so that my transition when I become a part of your family is a bit easier for all of us. But, if you’re willing to learn the basics of dog behavior, I’m willing to teach you.

If you like to go on hikes in the woods or if you’re one of those silly humans who likes to jog to keep in shape, I’ll be your best friend and come with you. Every time.

Even in the rain.

I like to go for car rides and I love to play ball. I’m good with other dogs, people I don’t know, loud noises don’t bother me, and, if I have to, I can stay by myself while you’re gone.

But, I’ll be really happy to see you when you come back. I might bark and do my happy dance … ’cause that’s the kind of dog I am.

I’m very fond of children, so if you have some of those, I’m okay with that. Between you and me, we can teach them all kinds of things: how to brush my fur and read stories to me. I’m a pretty good listener. If they’re old enough, they can learn how to feed me and take me for walks.

If they’ve had a bad day at school, I’ll be there when they come home. And, if they have secrets that they decide to tell me, I’ll keep them safe in my heart.

I’m a happy-go-lucky guy which makes me fun to be around. Despite getting lost losing my first human family, I’m an optimist. Which means that I believe in second and sometimes third chances.

I’m patient too, which means that I’ll wait until you find me because what I want more than anything in the whole wide world is to love you forever.  [gplus count=”true” size=”Medium” ]

Margaret – you are SO darn smart! Of course, it’s Brutus …. but I also wanted it to a post for all of the Brutus dogs out there: the mid-sized, black coated dogs that become invisible in animal shelters; the dogs that
get passed over because people just don’t see them.
