This morning I started a board over on Pinterest for a behind-the-scene look at some of the places that I write about in Love Always Wags Its Tail. I remember, my brother telling me that the only photograph that my book needed was a professional photograph for the cover of a dog that was going to be the universal symbol for all dogs; that if my writing was strong, it should stand on its own; finally, if I insisted on using photos throughout the book, they all needed to be taken by a professional. I’d been staring at book covers on Amazon for so long that I felt as if I lived there! I knew how important the book cover would be and, I’m really happy that I listened to myself and decided to have my own sweet Tessa be the cover diva.
At the moment, there are only six photos up on that Pinterest board – all of Swarthmore College. Such a beautiful campus! I’ve got 11 more chapters to work with and hope you check back soon to see how I’m doing. (Both here and over on Pinterest.)
That’s all I have today. We’re headed into a hot weekend in my town. Tonight marks the beginning of a huge village festival called Canal Days that brings a ga-zillion vendors into town. Depending on the weather, I’ll walk down to check things out on Saturday or Sunday morning before holing up with a good book. Enjoy your weekend!
Be sure to let me know what you think of my Pinterest board!
