“I’m Just A Guy Who Got Hit By A Car And Started Pup Protector – A Pet Products Company”

Pup Protector - LED dog collars

At first glance, Trevor looks like your above average guy: brown eyes, sandy-colored hair, and just the hint of a smile. You'd never know by looking at his photograph that three years ago, he became an accident statistic as he walked his dog, Naraku, in his neighborhood. Trevor Jensen describes what happened that fateful day: "It was early in the morning and Naraku and I were doing our normal 4 mile loop.  We were almost home and waited at the crosswalk for the light to turn … [Read more...]

A Lollypop Farm Story Ends As a Shelter Dog Starts Her New Life

Lollypop Farm adoption banner

The past two days have been a series of "firsts" for Gracie, starting with that moment when we walked her out the front entrance of Lollypop Farm into her next life. But what I really want to do now, is to tell you the most amazingly wonderful, fantastical story about what it's been like to watch my son come into his own. This is going to be … [Read more...]

Buying A New Car When Your Great Dane Rides In The Back Seat

"Black Great Dane with grey muzzle sits in grassy backyard

My son is shopping for a new car with enough room in the back seat for Jasper, our 160 pound, ten year old Great Dane. The car that he bought four years ago, a 2001 Mercury Sable Sedan, needs to be traded in or given to that junkyard in the sky. Normally, my son's pretty shy about starting conversations with complete strangers. He doesn't seem to have any difficutly at all in calling up car dealerships or just stopping by to chat up salespeople about what he's looking for before asking these … [Read more...]
