Hinckley Reservoir was my summer inspiration for a series of blog posts I wrote about the lake dogs which morphed into "Adirondack Lake Dogs," one of the essays in my book, Love Always Wags Its Tail. So you can see that there's a bit of a resemblance between these two guys. My son, the long-haired young guy to the left, has never NOT known JF, the long-haired, older guy on the left. This photo was taken in August of 2009, at Hinckley Reservoir, on the deck behind the cottage where we always spend the first week every August.
