How We Say Good Bye to Our Pets

We don't ever say good-bye when we leave our dogs, we always say, "Guard the house."  We've been using this phrase for so long that we never think twice about it. Emergency Vet Visit For Josephine Shifts Pack Energy

Things are a bit lop-sided this morning because Josephine spent last night at the vet's office so that her torn ear could be fixed (surgically) today. Seems she was out in the yard late yesterday afternoon with the other two dogs and my husband. Something made her decide to go crashing through the rose bush that grows up against the chain link fence. We Are So Done With Chocolate!

After three days of shepherding Tessa through chocolate withdrawal, we are almost back to normal. Last night, for the first time in two nights, she didn't have to sleep confined to the kitchen where cleaning up chocolate vomit is a lot easier on a linoleum floor. She's quite fond of her creature comforts and sleeping by herself did not make her happy. Day two of this ordeal started with a call to my vet.
